Fenny Lovin !!!!!!!!

Fenway has been doing well since his antibiotics kicked in.  That nasty infection won’t keep him down 🙂

He seems pretty awesome, if I don’t mind saying so myself.

The last couple of days, he has been following me around more, and commanding more love, than he has done since surgery.  This is especially fabulous for me, because I have been worried about that.  Prior to surgery, he loved getting “Fenny-lovin” (Fenny-lovin entails him leaning the top of his head up against the front of my thighs, and I bend at the waist and wrap my arms around his midsection, and rub his belly, and his booty, and his legs.)   I keep rubbing, until he starts to sway back and forth.  It is something we have done for years, and its what I do to comfort him if he is upset, or if he simply wants attention.   Last night, and this morning, he hopped over to me on the couch, and commanded me to love him.  It made me so happy!!!!  Needless to say, he got lots of love!!!!

Today he is pretty energetic.  We have been outside for a few walks.  Pretty good considering it is quite warm today, and fen has never been a big fan of the hot weather….He is more of a central-air kinda guy (guess he takes after his mama more than I realized) .

Off to take a quick walk.

Enjoy this Friday everyone.

  1. You can absolutely say he’s PAWESOME! It’s the truth. Glad to hear the drugs are doing their thing.

Air conditioning? Where the heck are you? It’s freezing here in Missouri!

  2. Jerry, we are in southeastern Connecticut. friday and Saturday it was about 80*. And a bit humid. Of course, its in the high 40’s, low 50’s today. Gotta love new England 🙂

Ps, the dogs love the cool weather. They get very frisky. Macy especially.

Happy Sunday (or as we say happy sundog)

    Fenny
